Subject: NEEDS MORE VERBS!!!
Subject: NEEDS MORE VERBS!!!
I feel like writing to Dr. Phil so he can help Mr. Van Der Kolk with his verb-problem! I would like to know what exactly TO DO with my body; seeing as how the book seems centered about it!
Aside from that, I have trouble keeping track of his brain-bits analogies, (what-does-what-to-what when/how - whatever useful analogy-words he used, after a few pages, and then it pops-up again, but I've forgotten it). And I think he goes a little too far with his explaining how he came to this idea or that idea, and a little too much time with the vignettes of peoples' problems... maybe it was my frustration with not getting to-do info that I was really looking for. That's my biggest sore-spot with this book.
I do see he has another'n that looks like it might be a good supplement for what I'm looking for though.
